Terms of use

These terms cover anyone who uses ScanBid NY. Vendors also agree to the vendor terms.

What the platform is

ScanBid NY lets customers post laser scanning, 3D walkthrough, and as-built documentation jobs, and lets approved vendors bid on them. We introduce the two sides; we are not a party to the work itself.

Operator disclosure

The platform is operated by TechScan USA, which also performs this kind of work. Every post is reviewed by the operator before publication, and the operator may submit a bid on any job. You are always free to accept any bid, or none.

Posting a job

Posting is free. Provide accurate information about the property and what you need. Your public listing shows the area, property type, size, deadline, and description. Your name, address, email, and phone are shown only to the vendor whose bid you accept, or to vendors you choose to share them with. We may edit a post for clarity or decline to publish it.

Bids and contracts

Bids are offers from independent vendors. Any agreement, payment, insurance, and scheduling is between you and the vendor. We do not guarantee any vendor's work, pricing, or availability. Confirm scope and deliverables in writing with the vendor you choose.

Accounts and sign-in

We sign you in with one-time email links. Keep your email account secure. Your private job link gives access to your job page; do not share it with people who should not see your bids.

Acceptable use

Do not post jobs you do not have authority to arrange, submit false information, scrape the site, or use it to harass anyone. We may remove content or accounts that break these rules.

No warranty and limitation of liability

The platform is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, TechScan USA is not liable for losses arising from use of the platform or from any work performed by a vendor.

Changes

We may update these terms and will post the new date at the top of this page.
