About ScanBid NY

ScanBid NY is a job board for 3D laser scanning, 3D walkthroughs, as-built documentation, real estate photography, and drone photography in Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Rockland County, including Borough Park and Monsey. Property owners, contractors, architects, real estate agents, and building managers post what they need, and local vendors bid on it.

The idea came from watching the same problem repeat on both sides. Customers did not know what to ask for, who to call, or what a fair price looked like, and often ended up with a deliverable that did not fit the purpose. Vendors spent their time chasing leads that were never going to close. A place where the job is described once and vendors respond with a specific scope and price solves both.

The platform is operated by a company that also runs a reality-capture business and may bid on jobs alongside other vendors. That relationship is disclosed in the vendor terms, and every bid is presented to the customer the same way regardless of who submitted it.

Posting is free, bidding is free, and there is no obligation on either side until a customer accepts a bid. If you have a building to document or a scanner and a truck, you are welcome here.
